About these downloads
Choose notarized macOS builds when available. Signed builds may still be awaiting notarization. Downloads are ZIP archives, retained for 14 days. Only installers uploaded after October 2, 2026 at 16:37 UTC are public. A failed build can still have a usable installer from a successful packaging job.
PR, commit, and log links open GitHub and may require repository access. Notes are the commit author's description.

Merge: cut the code comments down to what a reader needs
Since an image lives on its layer, placing one is a single undoable step like
every other creation. The check still expected the old two writes, keeping the
image first and showing it second, so every image-import sample failed on a
frame count the app no longer sends.

Remove the docs folder except the Figma exploration; history keeps the rest
The plans, step notes, evidence write-ups and research under docs/ described
work in progress and work already done, and every session read them as
context. The Figma exploration stays: the captures in docs/paper-har and the
two Figma notes in docs/canvas-controls. The Docker migration note at the root
goes with them.
Comments, the README and the patch notes that pointed into docs/ keep their
facts and drop the links, so nothing points at a file that is gone.

Take the working memories out of the tree; history keeps them
The copy added in 640a8841 stays in history as the backup. Removing it here
keeps the notes out of the context that sessions read going forward.

Keep a copy of Claude's working memories in the repo
These are the notes Claude kept between sessions on how the owner wants the
work done: decisions, preferences and habits, each with its reason. They were
moved out of Claude's private memory folder, so the repo now holds them where
they can be read, reviewed and edited.

Keep the Figma app contents and the plan backup with the reference captures
The zip and the unpacked Figma app contents sit beside the Paper and Figma
captures as reference material, stored in LFS like the captures so clones stay
light and no single file passes GitHub's size limit. The plan backup is small
and stays an ordinary file.

Merge: layers that lose their frame are deleted, and Recovered layers goes (DRA-171)
A layer whose frame is gone, because another person undid or deleted
it or because two people moved layers into each other at the same
moment, is deleted with everything inside it, as in Figma. The window
that sees it deletes it in one write outside history, so its own undo
and redo are untouched. The Recovered layers group, its inspector state
and Remove button are gone, agents never see such layers, and a move
that would take a slot out of its component says a slot stays in its
component.

Merge: agent edits drop the operation ID and the log of past calls (DRA-170)
An agent's call goes to Draftly on the same computer and returns once
the edit is made, so a label to make retries safe had no job. Every
tool now takes only its workstream and the change; the receipt store,
its pruning and retry replies, and the local checkpoint records are
gone. A refusal is a plain tool error, and a change that stopped after
it began writing says to inspect the file before trying again. The
workstream store keeps workstreams and their lifecycle only.

The HTML paste corpus sizes its crowd of tiny layers from the file's own layer bound (DRA-172)
The case pasted 26,000 tiny layers to exceed what a file holds, a number
from the 50,000-layer limit. Layer counts are now bounded by what 9.5 MB
can hold, so the case uses MAX_FILE_LAYERS + 1.

Merge: an image lives on its layer, so a file can hold any number of images (DRA-142)
Each image layer holds its own image record: the uploaded file, its
hash, size, name and how it was prepared. The file-wide image registry
and its 256-image cap are gone. Deleting a layer deletes its image
with it and undo brings it back; duplicates and copies share one
upload; the Images panel and list_assets show the images layers use.
Copies out of an older version carry their images. The v4 conversion
gains this step. A 24-hour check that an image nobody uses can still
be downloaded and used again is running, and reports on 30 September.

Give an Electron trace 30 seconds to save when a test closes
The text checks now draw a text at the new 1 MiB limit, so their traces
reach about 90 MB, and saving one took longer than the 5 seconds the
fixture allowed on a busy machine. The test's own steps had passed; only
the close failed.

Each clipboard image check pastes its own image bytes, since the one
image cache rightly reuses bytes a file already holds; the closed-file
paste check reopens its file; the dropped-image check takes its last
image away again. Proofs only; nothing is loosened.

Merge the fixes for the full regression's eight failures
Two were real: after a paste of several layers, Layers left keyboard
focus on an unpicked row, so the next Mod+V was ignored (the fast
Layers panel read picks from drawn rows); and the backend printed a
missing-gateway-key hint on every start, which pnpm dev now prints
instead. The rest were tests and setup: the local Liveblocks server
gets a 1 GiB disk because deleted rooms keep their logs; the long
canvas session's checks put back the rows and props they change; the
400-section paste counts picks from the inspector; the first-paint
hook reads the first typed character; and the peer-lock text check no
longer types an N, which now steps to the next artboard.

Merge: more files and agents can be open, and nothing ends someone's undo without need (DRA-151)
Twelve files can be open. Opening one more rests the quiet tab seen
least recently, one with no undo, redo or unsent work, and says
nothing; only when none can rest is the person asked to close one. A
seventh agent takes the place of the finished workstream idle longest,
and when six are working it is told so plainly. Lost-editor records
clear once their copies are saved and never block a file. Tabs behind
no longer redraw for changes they can't show. Reopening a released
workstream is DRA-152's one path, with no epoch anywhere.

Merge: the storage proof ships every package the emitted worker loads
The desktop storage proof builds its own small runtime from a fixed
list of packages. Token deletion made the worker's shared chunk import
uuid, which the list lacked, so the worker failed to load and three
storage scenarios failed. The proof now copies whatever the emitted
worker and its chunks import.

removal.ts imports the LiveMap type it uses, so the project typechecks again
ui-rework's DRA-136 merge left `dropLinks` naming LiveMap without importing it,
and `tsc` fails on it. The main checkout has the same one-line import
uncommitted, so it merges cleanly with it.

Merge: no hosted test or probe builds a room over 8 MiB (DRA-169)
The Liveblocks plan allows 10 MB per room. Every helper that opens a
hosted room now refuses a document over 8 MiB before writing, records
each room's size before deleting it, and fails if one grew past the
line. Full-size capacity and 40,000-layer cases run on the local
Liveblocks server, and the message-size probe needs --past-plan-limit
for its biggest cases.

Merge: a utility model helps write image prompts, with prompts in LiquidJS (DRA-132)
A multimodal helper model, set in Preferences and defaulting to
google/gemini-3.8-flash, improves a prompt on request and suggests one
when Generate image… opens with a single layer selected. It reads the
layer's picture and its most meaningful nodes. An empty container or
an image layer is filled by the result. Prompts are LiquidJS templates
compiled into main. Suggestions wait their turn in the visual review
queue and step aside for agents.

Merge: photos arrive in seconds and are never refused for their size (DRA-116)
Photos over about 16.7 megapixels are scaled down as they're read,
camera photos are stored as lossy WebP, and graphics and screenshots
stay lossless. Originals up to 64 MiB and 100 megapixels are accepted
everywhere, and a slow preparation says to try again instead of
calling the image too large.
