About these downloads
Choose notarized macOS builds when available. Signed builds may still be awaiting notarization. Downloads are ZIP archives, retained for 14 days. Only installers uploaded after October 2, 2026 at 16:37 UTC are public. A failed build can still have a usable installer from a successful packaging job.
PR, commit, and log links open GitHub and may require repository access. Notes are the commit author's description.

Undo taking back an image still uploading on a canvas page stops its upload too, so closing no longer asks about an image nobody sees being added (DRA-284)
Pressed one after another, the second paste used to arrive while Layers was still moving the keys to the first paste's row and was silently dropped. The keys are sent the way a person's queue up while the app is busy, so the second one reaches the app before the next frame.

The open_workstream description no longer says a script such as Japanese fits fewer characters (DRA-251)
It was a copy of an agent-written plan for work that has shipped, full of
decision numbers and library line numbers. History keeps it.

Plain READMEs, patch fixes named by what they fix, tests without plan labels
The READMEs say what a newcomer needs and no more. Each Liveblocks fix is
named by the failure it fixes, in the README and in the markers inside the
patch, so nothing refers to fixes by letter. Test titles say what they check
instead of citing gates from the deleted plans; the styled-text cases run in
file order now that their labels are gone.

Merge: cut the code comments down to what a reader needs
Since an image lives on its layer, placing one is a single undoable step like
every other creation. The check still expected the old two writes, keeping the
image first and showing it second, so every image-import sample failed on a
frame count the app no longer sends.

Remove the docs folder except the Figma exploration; history keeps the rest
The plans, step notes, evidence write-ups and research under docs/ described
work in progress and work already done, and every session read them as
context. The Figma exploration stays: the captures in docs/paper-har and the
two Figma notes in docs/canvas-controls. The Docker migration note at the root
goes with them.
Comments, the README and the patch notes that pointed into docs/ keep their
facts and drop the links, so nothing points at a file that is gone.

Take the working memories out of the tree; history keeps them
The copy added in 640a8841 stays in history as the backup. Removing it here
keeps the notes out of the context that sessions read going forward.

Keep a copy of Claude's working memories in the repo
These are the notes Claude kept between sessions on how the owner wants the
work done: decisions, preferences and habits, each with its reason. They were
moved out of Claude's private memory folder, so the repo now holds them where
they can be read, reviewed and edited.

Keep the Figma app contents and the plan backup with the reference captures
The zip and the unpacked Figma app contents sit beside the Paper and Figma
captures as reference material, stored in LFS like the captures so clones stay
light and no single file passes GitHub's size limit. The plan backup is small
and stays an ordinary file.

Merge: layers that lose their frame are deleted, and Recovered layers goes (DRA-171)
A layer whose frame is gone, because another person undid or deleted
it or because two people moved layers into each other at the same
moment, is deleted with everything inside it, as in Figma. The window
that sees it deletes it in one write outside history, so its own undo
and redo are untouched. The Recovered layers group, its inspector state
and Remove button are gone, agents never see such layers, and a move
that would take a slot out of its component says a slot stays in its
component.

Merge: agent edits drop the operation ID and the log of past calls (DRA-170)
An agent's call goes to Draftly on the same computer and returns once
the edit is made, so a label to make retries safe had no job. Every
tool now takes only its workstream and the change; the receipt store,
its pruning and retry replies, and the local checkpoint records are
gone. A refusal is a plain tool error, and a change that stopped after
it began writing says to inspect the file before trying again. The
workstream store keeps workstreams and their lifecycle only.

The HTML paste corpus sizes its crowd of tiny layers from the file's own layer bound (DRA-172)
The case pasted 26,000 tiny layers to exceed what a file holds, a number
from the 50,000-layer limit. Layer counts are now bounded by what 9.5 MB
can hold, so the case uses MAX_FILE_LAYERS + 1.

Merge: an image lives on its layer, so a file can hold any number of images (DRA-142)
Each image layer holds its own image record: the uploaded file, its
hash, size, name and how it was prepared. The file-wide image registry
and its 256-image cap are gone. Deleting a layer deletes its image
with it and undo brings it back; duplicates and copies share one
upload; the Images panel and list_assets show the images layers use.
Copies out of an older version carry their images. The v4 conversion
gains this step. A 24-hour check that an image nobody uses can still
be downloaded and used again is running, and reports on 30 September.

Give an Electron trace 30 seconds to save when a test closes
The text checks now draw a text at the new 1 MiB limit, so their traces
reach about 90 MB, and saving one took longer than the 5 seconds the
fixture allowed on a busy machine. The test's own steps had passed; only
the close failed.
